Gifts & Ideas of Valentines day means and why valentine day celebrated

Before the 5th century a festival called Lupercalia was celebrated by roman men and women in the middle of February.

At the end of 5th century pope Gelasius-I announce and converted this festival “Lupercalia” with a new name called “St. Valentine’s Day. This is the lover’s day.

Saint Valentine a Roman Catholic Priest who is going against the law of Emperor Claudius II and help people, especially Roman soldiers to find their love and get married. For the reason he is put into prison and punished for death sentence.  The day is 14th February on which his punishment is executed.

The day 14th February is celebrated as Valentine’s Day in most of the countries; normally it is called lover’s day. The popularity of this valentine day is become most common festivals all over in the world specially united states as well as Asian and European countries like Britain, Argentina , Italy, France Germany India china Thailand, Malays Australia Japan.
